9. Audio Mix Engine
Src Repl Element Nr These fields are used to couple the source to an external source in an Ember+ consumer. The
Src Repl Element Nr should match that defined in the
Src Repl Name
Name should match the display name configured in the Ember+ consumer.
List Enable Select this checkbox if you wish the source to be added to the source selection list when
assigning sources from the control surface.
Audio Input Selects the audio input for the source.
Limiter Tick these checkboxes to assign signal processing to the source. Note that:
Compressor Compressor represents the Dynamics (Gate, Expander and Compressor) section.
Equaliser DSP is not available for surround sources.
Delay
Lim Op Disable On sapphire MK2 systems, all 96 Sources are configured with Limiter, Dynamics,
Delay. Tick these check boxes to prevent the operator adjustment of DSP parameters for certain

Nova17/MTx Server Available on stereo sources only. If the audio input to the source is assigned from a remote
matrix, then this option selects the method of communication:

Turn the option On if the remote matrix is a Nova17, Nova29 or Matrix Server.
·
Turn the option Off if the remote matrix is a Nova73 (for communication via Remote MNOPL).
Once communication is established, you can use the Matrix Out 1 field to support the transfer
of labels from the remote matrix (to the fader label display on the console).
And/or use the Class/Pool field (and Mtx Src Pool element) to provide operator-controlled
selection of audio inputs from the remote matrix. See
Matrix Out 1 Available on stereo sources only. This option allows the labels from a remote matrix (as
described above) to appear in the fader strip displays and source's Kpf label.

Class/Pool Available on stereo sources only. This option will allow an operator to select audio inputs from
a remote matrix directly from the fader strip. See

MTX Src Pool element.
When using a Nova73, enter the class configured in the Nova73 map (as described in the
"ext_router_control_en.pdf"

RAVENNA OFF / ON. When set to ON, the source becomes a RAVENNA source that can
streams available on the network.
RAVENNA Pool No. Up to 6 pools can be defined to shape the availability of streams, and whether a particular
stream can be selected by this source. Note that a

Fader Open Tick this box if you wish the level of the source to be set to 0dB rather than - infinity. This is

Input Mute Selects an input control signal to mute the audio input.
