Control Tab
This tab allows the engineer to switch between User (read-only) and Administrative modes.
Access Level
The Power Core Web UI provides two user modes:
·
User Mode. By default, the UI loads in User Mode. In this mode, the web pages are locked; they display
information only and settings are not changeable. "User" is shown in the "Actual Level" field.
·
Administrator Mode. This mode allows pertinent data fields to be changed from within the Web UI. To
access Administrator mode, type orion into the "Higher Level Password" field, and click the green button.
The "Actual Level" field will now display "Administrator".
To exit Administrator Mode, click the green button again; the UI will return to User Mode.
When Administrator Mode is active, two more option boxes are visible: Front Display and Control Functions.
Front Display
The "Editing Disabled" box is checked by default. If unchecked, the unit's IP Address and other settings can be
changed using the display and selection knob on the Power Core's front panel. Lawo recommends keeping front-
panel editing disabled.
When using the front-panel controls, inactivity causes the display to return to its normal status. You may set a
timeout period for this action by entering a value, in seconds, in the "Edit Mode Fallback Time" field.
Control Functions
This field provides two options for system restart:
·
Reboot (Coldstart). Reboots the unit and loads base configuration parameters and clears any temporary
user changes.
·
Reboot (Warmstart). Reboots the unit and keeps any user-entered temporary configuration changes.
Options discussed in the following sections are changeable only in Administrator mode. When in User mode,
pages display information only and are non-editable.
