Cause/Action
1. Check the DADF Feeder Cover for mismatch.
2. Check for malfunction of DADF Feeder Cover Interlock Switch (DADF IIT Input[005-212]).
3. If no problem is found, replace the DADF PWB.

005-500 DADF Download Flash Write Error

BSD-ON:CH3.2
Failed to write into the Flash ROM during DAFD Download.
Cause/Action
1. Turn the power OFF and ON.
2. If the problem persists, replace the following parts in sequence:
• DADF PWB (PL 56.2)
• ESS PWB (PL 18.2)

005-907 DADF Pre Regi. Sensor

DADF Pre Regi. Sensor detected paper when Powering On, closing Feeder Cover Interlock, or closing
DADF Open Sensor.
Cause/Action
1. Check for any residue of paper on DADF Pre Regi. Sensor, returning malfunction of the Actuator,
Sensor uncleanness.
2. Check for malfunction of DADF Pre Regi. Sensor (DADF IIT Input[005-206]).
3. If no problem is found, replace the DADF PWB.

005-908 DADF Regi. Sensor Static Jam

Detected unsupported document size in DADF Scan.
Cause/Action
1. Check the size of the document that was fed by the User.
2. If the error is not cleared, check the following:
• Malfunction of DADF Pre Regi. Sensor (DADF IIT Input[005-206]).
• Malfunction of Document Tray Size Sensor 1/2 (DADF IIT Input[005-221/222]).
3. If no problem is found, replace the DADF PWB.

005-948 SS-Size Mismatch Jam on No Mix-size

In No Mix mode, it was detected that a document with a shorter size in Slow Scan (SS) direction was
transported from the DADF. (Notify Fail when (NVM[710-600] value is "3", size mismatch was detected,
vertical scanning length was short.)
