6.5.3 Panel Diag Menu
6.5.3.1 Function Explanation
•
Displays the Panel Diag Function Menu.
•
The screen can be switched by pressing the button on the LCD but can also be switched by specify-
ing the diagnosis item number using the Hardware Key.

6.5.4 Memory Test
6.5.4.1 Function Explanation
•
Perform the test for access (read/write) to the memory, Flash-Memory (ROM)/SDRAM (RAM)/
EEPROM (NVM) that will be installed in the Panel Device.
•
If Flash-Memory test is selected, calculate the sum value of the Flash-Memory program area and
compare it with the sum value stored in the Flash-Memory.
•
If SDRAM test is selected, write 0xAAAAAAAA, 0x55555555, 0xFFFFFFFF, 0x00000000 in the
unused area of SDRAM and check to see if the written value can be read correctly.
•
If EEPROM (NVM) test is selected, write 0xAA, 0x55, 0xFF, 0x00 in the unused area of EEPROM
and check to see if the written value can be read correctly.
6.5.4.2 Screen Layout
(A) Status Display Area
6.5.4.3 Operating Explanation
•
Select the type of memory to test from the check box. (Multiple selection shall be enabled and all
items should be selected by default.)
•
Perform the test for the selected memory by pressing the [Start] button.
•
The [Start] button is invalid if no check boxes are selected.
•
Display the progress of the memory test in Status Display Area (A).

Remarks
If this state continues for a long period of
time, there is a possibility that it froze during
reading/writing.The state can be restored by
turning the power OFF/ON since it cannot be
operated from the Panel.
