6.5.1 Diagnosis Function Overview
Provide the diagnosis function as shown in the following chart as the Panel Device diagnosis function

Memory Test
Perform the test for access (read/write) to the memory, Flash-
Memory (ROM)/SDRAM (RAM)/EEPROM (NVM) that will be
installed in the Panel Device.

Hardware Key Test
Check the hardware key. Display the character string that
supports all of the hardware keys on the LCD screen and
change the color of the letter of the key that is pressed.

Adjust Touch Screen Test
Set the correction value of the Touch Panel.
Perform calibration for touch coordination of the Touch Panel.

Touch Screen Test
Check the Touch Panel. Press the 9 buttons on the Touch
Panel in order and complete the Touch Panel test by pressing
all the buttons.

LED Test
Perform the LED test. Turn ON the LED by pressing the but-
ton displayed on the LCD screen. The LED will turn OFF by
pressing the Stop button. It is possible to test blinks as well.

Buzzer Test
Perform the buzzer test. Set the volume and press the Start
button to sound the buzzer. The buzzer will stop by pressing
the Stop button.

Brightness Test
Check the Panel brightness.
Change the Panel brightness to 10 stages and check to see if
the brightness changes.

Display Test
Check the PLCD screen display.
Display in the order of Red Screen, Green Screen, Blue
Screen, White Screen, Black Screen, Perimeter Frame
Screen, Color Bar Screen, Grayscale Screen, and check to
see if there is no Data Line Bit missing.

Adjust Sense of Touch
Adjust the touch sensitivity.
Set the sensitivity with the numeric keypad and use that
adjusted value for the Panel touch operation to detect the
touch.

6.5.2 Switch to Panel Diag Mode
Press multiple keys ([0][5][8]) simultaneously from the Panel Device when the Power is ON to switch to
Panel Diag Mode.
