ADJ 8.1.3 DC940: PROCON OFF Print
Purpose
•
Print out the Pcon PG (Procon OFF) in IOT based status (stan-
dard potential mode, ADC gradation control and auto gradation
control is OFF (Ignore)) from the Test Pattern Print, check the
printout sample color concentration and compare it with PRO-
CON ON Print.
Execution Period
•
When selecting and executing Pcon PG Test Pattern Print
(Procon OFF)
Enter the CE DIAG Mode, [Printer Diag] -> [Test Print] -> [Pro-
con OFF ESS]
Action
1.
Execute the printout
•
Once the [Execution button] is pressed on the screen,
print out 1 copy of built-in PG [PconPG (Procon OFF)] on
standard screen with the mode specified in the paper type
setting of the selected tray.
•
For Procon setting of printout, it will not depend on the
Customer Mode setting and the Potential Control will be
Standard Potential Mode, ADC Gradation Control will be
OFF (Ignore), Auto Gradation Correction will be OFF
(Ignore), Image Quality TRC will be ON and the Toner
Supply Control is the same setting as the Customer Mode
setting. Potential or LUT setting of the Customer Mode
will not be updated even if PROCON OFF Print is exe-
cuted and the same Customer Mode from before the
operation will still be used after the operation.
Note
•
PROCON ON/OFF Print is for FC operation only and does not
work with BW operation. Therefore, it will not operate when
Local Fail generates (any of Y/M/C Drum NG or Toner Car-
tridge NG).
•
The image of PROCON ON/OFF Print is A4LEF, 8.5 x 17''
inches or less.

(Manual Toner Concentration Adjustment)
Purpose
•
Toner Concentration Adjustment function lets you change to
the desired toner concentration.
Based on the image selected in Test Pattern Print, adjust toner
concentration for each color with ToneUp (ToneUp Hafe Tone
Image Run + {Buffer Dispense Time)/ToneDown (ToneDown
Hafe Tone Image Run + {Buffer Dispense Time=0).

When selecting and executing Test Pattern Print Y/M/C/K Up
A4 5PV, Y/M/C/K Down A4 10PV

•
ToneUp/Down parameter is decided for each Test Pattern.

ToneUp/Down Operation Execution Requirement Check
•
Based on the selection and execution instruction of 8
types of ToneUp/Down Test Pattern print, the specified
color will be the designated no. of copies and set the Hafe
Tone Pattern and Dispense time for each color based on
the following setting, then execute the ToneUp/Down
operation.
•
It will operate fully in FC mode and will not work in BW
mode. Therefore, it will not operate when Local Fail gen-
erates (any of Y/M/C Drum NG or Toner Cartridge NG).
During ToneUp (When selecting and executing Y/
M/C/K Up A4 5PV)
•
Print out 5 copies of ToneUp IOT built-in Hafe Tone pattern (Cin
is All Color 10%).
•
Potential Control, ADC Gradation Control and Auto Gradation
Control, Image Quality TRC are the same as in Customer
mode settings.
•
Output Patten Size: A4LEF
Disassembly/Assembly and Adjustment
During ToneDown (When selecting and executing
Y/M/C/K Down A4 10PV)
•
Print out 10 copies of ToneDown IOT built-in Hafe Tone Pattern
(70% of specified color for Cin, 10% of other color than the
specified color).
•
Potential Control, ADC Gradation Control and Auto Gradation
Control, Image Quality TRC are the same as in Customer
mode settings.
•
Output Patten Size: A4LEF
During Finishing of ToneUp/Down
•
Cycle down when ToneUp/Down is finished.
