Static electricity damage
Wear a wrist strap that connects to the wrist strap
grounding point of a frame supervisory panel (FSP)
when you handle circuit cards. This action protects
the cards against static electricity damage.
Power down the NT2X70 card in slot 22 of the HIE shelf. To power down the
card, set the ON/OFF switch on the power converter faceplate to OFF. Both the
converter FAIL LED and FRAME FAIL lamp on the frame supervisory panel
(FSP) will be ON. An audible alarm can sound. If an alarm sounds, silence it.
To silence the alarm, type
>SIL
and press the Enter key.
