Indication
The alarm code LCM under the PM subsystem header indicates an LCM
alarm. The
LCM indicates the number of LCMs that have a major alarm.
Meaning
The LCM is in-service trouble (ISTb) because of one of the following
conditions:
Result
The SysB and CBsy LCMsdo not directly affect service, because one unit of
the LCM still provides service. There is no local backup. Failure of the
other LCM unit will interrupt service.
A CBsy condition can interrupt communication between the RLCM-EDC
and the host. An interruption of communication between the RLCM-EDC
and the host reduces the service that the RLCM-EDC provides to the local
area. Out of service line drawers affect call processing. If all line drawers
are in-service call processing is not affected.
