Preparing the Site
Preparing. and lkrminating Cables
Using the Amp insertion tool included with tool kit, insert the contacts into the appropriate
connector housing(s). (See connection diagrams below). If using the Amp 91285-1 insertion
tool, use the green tip for insertion and extraction.
Note Use connection diagram 1 for single faceplate installations. In double faceplate
installations,. both sides of the cable must be terminated to female connectors
using connection diagram 1 for
oni
side and connection diagram 2 for the
other side. Connection diagrams 1 and 2 do NOT correspond due to the RS232
handshake protocol.
6. Assemble faceplate to wallbox using screws included with faceplate.
