The HP Component Central Monitor fan filter should be cleaned every 14 days, or more often if
the CHECK FAN FILTER message appears.
1. Remove grill from rack by pushing up on plastic tabs on bottom of grill and pulling it out.
2. Carefully pull filter on back of grill off plastic pins.
3. Wash filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse with running water.
4. Shake water from filter and pat dry with a cloth.
5. Replace filter on back of grill.
6. Replace grill onto rack and push it in until it snaps.

lb Clean the Paper Roller
The Recorder Module paper roller should be cleaned periodically to prevent paper slippage and
to keep the recordings clean.
Use a lint free cloth and an Isopropyl Alcohol to wipe the roller. Be sure to clean both sides of
the roller.
Caution
To avoid damage to the roller, do
NOT
use any of the following cleaning agents:

Dilute sodium hypochlorite
(laundry bleach)
n
Dilute formaldehyde
n
Hydrogen peroxide
