CS number
Indicates the central station identification number. All central stations
have a unique CS number ID. This ID is also known as SDN ID and PIG
ID. Range is 1 through 6.
Start bed range
Defines the tuning range. Start bed identifies the which branch the
tuning range will begin with. Range is 1 through 24.
End bed range
Defines the last bed in the tuning range. This number must be higher
than the start bed number. Range is 1 through 24.
Care Unit
SCC connecied
Identifies the specific care unit to which each SDN bed is assigned.
Each bed can then be assigned to a Care Group (bedside capability),
and only information from within that Care Group can be observed.
Indicates whether the HP Component Central Monitor is connected to
an see.

Printer
Identifies the type of printer (if any) connected to the HP Component
Central Monitor. If no printer is connected, this question must be
answered as
None.
Alarm tone volume
Default level of the alarm sound. Choices are:
Very
Soft/Soft/Medium/Loud/Very
Loud.
(Volume can also be set in
Monitoring Mode.)
Silence
alarms
Determines whether alarms from bedside monitors can (Yes) or cannot
(No) be silenced at the Central Monitor. (Telemetry beds can always be
silenced at the Central Monitor.)
Bed to Sector
Determines whether bed assignments of sectors can be changed in

Color Scheme
Determines color of waveforms and parameter values
in the sector
(color monitor only). Choices are:
Standard:
all data is green.
By Bed:
all data is the color selected by the user in the Pick Waves For
Stmdard mk Window (the ~~~~~~~~c-~~~:: softkey is avtiable for this

setting only).
By Wave:
waveforms and parameter values are the colors configured
in the Wave Color 'I&k Window (usually the same as the bedside
monitor).
Note
With all three color schemes:

When there is an alarm condition, the sector turns blue and the alarm
message area turns red, yellow, or green, depending on alarm type.

The waveforms in the Patient Window Task Window will be in the default
colors (configured in the Wave Color Task Window).
