Optional Components
Slave Displays
Depending upon system configuration, each HP M2300A Series Central Monitor can support the
following slave displays:
n
A 14-inch monochrome or color monitor, one per system display controller
n
A 17-inch or 19-inch monochrome or color monitor, up to three per system display controller
Note
These slave displays are the only components that are not powered by the
system power supply, and therefore have their own power connection to the
local ac supply.
Remote Rack
The HP M2350AM2360A Central Monitor can be equipped with a stand-alone remote rack,
connected to the Central Monitor by a rack interface cable.
The remote rack can house up to two additional recorder modules.
Notes
1. Even with an optional remote rack attached, each HP Component Central
Monitor can support only two recorder modules.
2. The HP M1276A Remote Rack has a label which says "PATIENT
CONNECTIONS ELECTRONICALLY ISOLATED. ' This label is applicable only
when there is a patient connected to a module in the rack. Therefore, it
does not apply to the HP Component Central Monitor.
Keyboard Switch
<
A keyboard switch can be used to enable the use of one keyboard for up to four HP
Component Central Monitors. If the keyboard switch is used, specify the HP Component
Central Monitor to which you want to be connected by pressing the appropriate button on the
switch.
