Leaving Configuration Mode
When you have completed all the changes to the configuration of the HP Component Central
Monitor, you must change the operating mode back to monitoring mode. The procedure
detailed in the following steps allows you to restart patient monitoring.

Press (JMonitorSerup). This displays the Instrument Configuration l&k Window.

prompt for a password.

Enter the password, a four digit number, using $ to &

password is entered incorrectly the system remains in the Operating Mode task
window.

Highlight the Monitor mode using the arrow keys or by pressing $Ij&nge@p~o~e'~.

Press @ZK) to switch to the highlighted mode The system now performs a
cold-start and the mode is switched from Configuration Mode to Monitoring Mode.
