Service Mode is selected using the procedure detailed in the following steps:

The instrument configuration selection is displayed.

operating mode in words (for example, "Operating Mode - Monitoring") and
prompts for a password.

Enter the password, a four-digit number, using the keys labeled $;i to $.. 6:.

is entered
correctly,

is highlighted.
If the password is entered incorrectly the system remains in the Operating Mode
task window.

key to switch to the highlighted mode. The system now performs a
cold start and the mode is switched from Monitoring Mode to Service Mode.

When Service Mode is entered, the display becomes blank and the message
"Service mode active - NO MONITORING!" appears at the top of the screen.

Mode F'acilities
The following facilities are available in Service Mode and are described in the following
paragraphs:
1. Date & Time
2. Status Log
3. Monitor Revision
4. Network Test
Date & Time
This facility allows you to set the system date & time. If the equipment is connected to the
SDN Network, the date & time are set automatically by the Network.
