Service Mode is selected using the procedure detailed in the following steps:

[Monitor Setup].
The instrument configuration selection is displayed.
Press ~~~~~~i~~,~~~~des.. The Operating Mode task window displays the current
operating mode in words (for example, "Operating Mode - Monitoring") and
prompts for a password.

Enter the password, a four-digit number, using the keys labeled $;i to $.. 6:.
Password = 4311
Step 4 If the password is entered correctly, then the ~~~~~~~~~o;de:ikey is highlighted.
If the password is entered incorrectly the system remains in the Operating Mode
task window.

Highlight the Service mode by using the arrow keys or pressing the

Press cs) key to switch to the highlighted mode. The system now performs a
cold start and the mode is switched from Monitoring Mode to Service Mode.

When Service Mode is entered, the display becomes blank and the message
"Service mode active - NO MONITORING!" appears at the top of the screen.

[Monitor Setup)
to display the list of Service Mode softkey selections.

Mode.
Service Mode F'acilities
The following facilities are available in Service Mode and are described in the following
paragraphs:
1. Date & Time
2. Status Log
3. Monitor Revision
4. Network Test
Date & Time
This facility allows you to set the system date & time. If the equipment is connected to the
SDN Network, the date & time are set automatically by the Network.
