Reloading Recorder Module Paper
Follow the steps below to re-load paper in the Recorder Module:
Caution
To prevent damage to the recorder module, use only HP approved paper (HP
reorder number 40477A/B).
Before loading a new roll of paper rmve
the empty core from the pretkns roll of paper.
Step 1 Pull out several inches of paper from the new roll. (Hold it so that the loose end of
the paper hangs over
the
top towards you.) Open the door and insert the paper roll
into the recorder until it is held securely by the buttons/bumps on each side.
Step 2 Cut off and discard the first two inches (approximately) of paper to eliminate any
traces of adhesive. Thread the paper under the roller and over the plastic shelf far
enough so that it goes around the roller and comes out above it.
Step 3 Make sure
that
the paper is draped over the end of the door and close the door. (The
paper should be visible, draped down in front of the door.)
Note
The recorder will not run when the door is open or when it is out of paper.
