Servicing the Display Module
'lb Remove the Top Metal Cover and SMPS Cover (M1094B)
Note
This procedure applies only to the M1094B color display.
The procedure for removing the top metal cover and SMPS cover to gain access inside the
display module is described in the following steps. All screws are removed using a cross-point
screwdriver.
Step 1

Remove the six screws that secure the top metal cover and the SMPS cover to the
display.
Remove the top metal and SMPS covers.
To Replace the Top Metal and SMPS Covers (M1094B)
The procedure for replacing the top metal and SMPS covers is described in the following steps.
All screws are replaced using a cross-point screwdriver.
Step 1 Insert SMPS cover over rear of display, slide bottom and sides into place and align
2 screw holes on cover's top edge with holes in top frame of display.
Step 2 Insert 3 tabs on top metal cover into slots on top of display, and align cover's 6
screw holes with holes in display frame and bottom cover.
Step 3 Secure top metal and SMPS covers
to
display with 6 screws removed in step 2
above.
