Removing and Replacing Components
Servicing the Display Module
'lb Remove the Line Input / Fuse Holder (M1092A/M1094A)
Note
This procedure applies only to the M1092A and M1094A displays.
The procedure for removing the line input / fuse holder assembly is described in the following
steps. All screws are removed using a cross-tipped screwdriver.
Step 1 Remove the screw securing the two wires (green/yellow striped) from the
switch-mode power supply and' deflection board to the common grounding point on
the plate of the assembly.
Step 2
Remove the screw securing the single grounding wire to the same plate.
Step 3 Remove the screw on to the left of
the
grounding post on the rear of the
switch-mode power supply. This secures the assembly to the power supply.
Step 4 Slide
the
assembly out of the slot in the side of the power supply.
'lb Replace the Line Input / Fuse Holder (M1092A/M1094A)
The procedure for replacing the line input / fuse holder is described in the following steps. All
screws are replaced using a cross-tipped screwdriver.
Step 1
Slide the assembly into the slot on the right side of the switch-mode power supply.
Step 2 Replace
the
screw on to the left of
the
grounding post on the rear of the
switch-mode power supply. This secures the assembly to the power supply.
Step 3
Replace the screw securing the single grounding wire to the same plate.
Step 4 Replace the screw securing the two wires (green/yellow striped) from the
switch-mode power supply and sweep board to the common grounding point on
the plate of the assembly.
