Removing and Replacing Components
Servicing the Display Module
'lb Remove the Switch-Mode Power Supply (M1094B)
Note
This procedure applies only to the M1094B color display.
The procedure for removing the switch-mode power supply (SMPS) is described in the following
steps.

Step 5
Disconnect line switch assembly on lower right of SMPS PCB by depressing its
top and removing its bottom tab from connector slot. Push assembly and cable
through entry hole in PCB.
Disconnect remaining 4 cables entering rear of SMPS PCB.
Remove 6 screws securing SMPS PCB to rear of display.
Remove ground wire attached with screw to bottom front of PCB.
Using screwdriver, depress 2 white tabs (top center and right center) projecting
through PCB, tilt PCB forward and remove.
lb Replace the Switch-Mode Power Supply (M1094B)
The procedure for replacing the switch-mode power supply (SMPS) is described in the following
steps.

Place PCB tab holes over 2 white tabs and snap into place.
Secure ground wire to bottom front of PCB with screw removed in step 4 above.
Align screw holes and secure PCB to rear of display with 6 screws removed in step
3 above.

Reattach 4 cables removed in step 2 above.
Reconnect line switch assembly removed in step 1 above.
