Procedures for HP Personnel
Before beginning the following procedures for assembling mounts and preparing cables, be sure
that the customer has completed all necessary preparations outlined in the previous section,
"Procedures for Local Staff. n
Assembling Mounts
Each mount is delivered with a complete set of mounting hardware. Refer to the HPM1180
Series Wall and Ceiling Mount Equipment Note (Ml 180-90900) for additional instructions on
assembling mounts.
Warning
It is the customer's responsibility to have the attachment of the mounting
hardware to the ceiling, wall, or mounting rail and the construction of
the ceiling, wall, or mounting rail evaluated for structural integrity
and compliance with all local, state and any other required codes by a
registered, professional, structural and/or mechanical engineer.
Ensure that this commitment
has
been met before assembling mounts.
Shelf Mounts
If shelf mounts are to be hung on rails, HP personnel are responsible for hanging and leveling
the shelf options onto the rails which are provided by the customer.
