Computer Module
The Computer Module includes covers, a backplane (for connection of the function cards) and
housing and mechanical support for the dc-to-dc converter and the function cards.
An integral plug-in module rack is fitted into the front of the Computer Module. This integral
rack can contain up to two recorder modules.
Display Module
The Display Module comprises a 14-inch monochrome or color monitor and the system power
supply. There are connections for "video in", "video out", "HIL" (for connection of the
keyboard), "ac power in" and "6OV dc out."
Recorder Module
Each HP M2350A/M2360A Central Monitor comes standard with one Recorder Module
(additional recorder modules may be ordered). The Recorder Module plugs into the standard
integral rack (on Computer Module) or an optional remote rack (see below).
The Recorder Module contains a thermal printhead recorder which, upon user request, can
generate strip chart recordings of physiological waveforms.
Keyboard
The keyboard can be used instead of any hardkey or softkey on the Display Module. It is also
used to enter all numeric-or alphabetic characters in a Task Window.
