Selecting a Data Format
The E5070/E5071A allows you to display measured S-parameters using the following data
formats:
o Rectangular display formats
o Polar format
o Smith chart format

Rectangular Display Formats

Rectangular display format draws traces by assigning stimulus values (sweep frequency on
a linear scale) to the X-axis and response values to the Y-axis (see Figure 3-7). Eight
different formats are available depending on the selection of data for the Y-axis (see Table
3-3).
