Front side door electric window mechanism: Removal - Refitting

REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit:
- the rear lower section and then the rear upper sec-
tion of the front side door electric window mecha-
nism,
- the front lower section and then the front upper
section of the front side door electric window mech-
anism,
- the nuts (5) and (6) without tightening them.
a Clip on the front side door electric window mecha-
nism (4) and the mechanism cables inside the front
side door box section.
a Torque tighten the nuts of the front side door elec-
tric window mechanism (8 N.m) (5) .
II - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
- the window motor (see Electric window motor:
Removal - Refitting) (87D, Electric windows -
Sunroof),
- the front side door glass run channel (see Front
side door window run channel: Removal - Refit-
ting) (66A, Window sealing),
- the door mirror (see 56A, Exterior equipment,
Door mirror: Removal - Refitting, page 56A-7) .
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
a Check the position of the sliders of the front side
door electric window mechanism in the raised posi-
tion.
a Refit the front side door sliding window glass (see
54A, Windows, Front side door sliding window:
Removal - Refitting, page 54A-9) .
a Adjust:
- the front side door sliding window at X and at Z
(see 54A, Windows, Side windows: Adjustment,
page 54A-3) ,
- the front side door sliding window at Y (see 54A,
Windows, Side windows: Adjustment, page
54A-3) .
a Refit:
- the blanking covers (3) ,
- the sealing foam (1) ,
- the door sealing films (see Door sealing film: Re-
moval - Refitting) (65A, Opening elements seal-
ing).
a Carry out a sealing test (see Technical Note 653A).
a Refit the front side door trim (see Front side door
trim: Removal - Refitting) (72A, Side opening ele-
ments trim).
