Limiting the volume on switching on
It is possible to select the volume at w h i c h
the radio is switched on using frequency se­
lection buttons 5 (1) and 4 (2), respectively
to increase or reduce the volume.
By pressing buttons 4 or 5 the message "ON
VOL xx" w i l l appear on the display where the
level of the volume set will appear in place of
xx.
LOUDNESS function
The LOUDNESS function makes it possible
to improve the quaility of the sound at a re­
duced volume.
To activate the LOUDNESS function, press
frequency selection button tasto 5 (1) until
the message "LOUD O N " appears on the dis­
play. To deactivate the LOUDNESS func­
tion, activated previously, press frequency
selection button 4 (2).
FRDER O N
FADER function
By selecting the "FADER" function it is pos­
sible to alter the distribution of the volume
between the front and rear speakers.
To select the FADER function, press frequen­
cy selection button 5 (1) until the message
"FADER O N " appears on the display. To de­
activate the function, press frequency selec­
tion button 4 (2). The VOL control (3) is
used to regulate the intensity of the sound,
emphasizing the sound coming from the
front speakers or from the rear speakers.
