1. Disconnect the Lambda probe wiring
connector, then disconnect the first sec­
tion of the exhaust pipe from the exhaust
manifold.
2. Remove the first section of the exhaust
pipe by undoing the attachments to the
catalytic converter.
3. Undo the bolts securing the gear change
internal linkage mounting and handbrake
to the body shell.
4. Withdraw the internal gear change linkage
mounting downwards.
5. Internal linkage assembly.
