REMOVING - REFITTING
Position the vehicle on a lift, remove the front
wheels and disconnect the battery negative
terminal. Then proceed as follows.
1. Remove the upper engine guard.
2. Disconnect the battery positive terminal,
unscrew the nut securing the battery to its
cradle and remove from the engine bay.
3. Unscrew the retaining bolts shown and
remove the air shroud shown in the figure.
4. Raise the lift and remove the lower engine
bay guard.
