1. Undo the nuts fixing the first section of
the exhaust pipe to the catalytic converter,
then remove the pipe.
2. Release the exhaust pipe from the rubber
mounting shown in the diagram.
3. Undo the bolt fixing the exhaust pipe front
mounting bracket.
4. Undo the bolt fixing the exhaust pipe rear
mounting bracket, then extract it from the
vehicle.
5. Remove the heat shield acting on the fix­
ings illustrated.
