Coolant temperature sensor
The temperature of the engine coolant is
measured by a sensor which comprises an
NTC resistor where the resistance varies in a
manner which is inversely proportional to the
temperature, as illustrated in the diagram.
The control unit detects the variation in volt
age proportional to the current intensity cir
culating in the sensor.
The sensor should be fitted taking care not to
exceed the tightening torque of 15 Nm
