Adjusting the balance between the front and rear speakers (FADER)
Consultthe "EXPERT control level" section and the pointdealing w i t h the "FADER f u n c t i o n " for the ad­
justment.
Loudness function
Consult the "EXPERT control level" section and the point dealing with the"LOUDNESS f u n c t i o n " for
the adjustment.
DUTE O H flUTE OFF
M U T E function
By pressing the A U D button (1) for about 3
seconds the MUTE function is selected and
the message "MUTE O N " appears on the dis­
play.
To deactivate this function the A U D button
must be pressed again. The message " M U T E
OFF" will appear on the display.
When the Mute function is selected, the radio
no longer sends any signals to the speakers.
RADIO FUNCTION
K M Reception conditions vary constantly whilst driving. Reception can be interfered with by the
^ Q ^ presence of mountains, buildings or bridges, especially when the broadcasing transmitter is far
^ ■ ™ away.
N O T E When the "RADIO" function is activated, the last station listened to before switching off is re­
ceived.
Function selection
As soon as the radio is switched o n , the radio
is heard.
Selecting the band
By pressing the BN button (1) briefly several
times it is possible to select the frequency
bands available. The message for the range
selected will appear on the display. The pos­
sible messages are:
" F M 1 " , " F M 2 " , " F M 3 " for FM frequency
ranges
" M W " , medium wave, " L W " , long wave, for
A M ranges
