1. Remove the upper protective cover for the
timing drive belt; if necessary, release the
mounting brackets for the engine cooling
system pipes.
2. Remove the lower timing belt cover.
3. Remove the lower flywheel shield from
the bell housing.
4. Place flywheel lock 1860766000 in posi­
tion to prevent the rotation of the
crankshaft.
5. Remove the damper flywheel, then re­
move the flywheel lock 1860766000.
