The tank ventilation system is of the "closed" type.
This system prevents the petrol vapours which form in the tank or fuel supply system from discharging
into the atmosphere and releasing the light hydrocarbons (HC) they contain, thus causing pollution.
The system consists of a tank (5), a multi-function valve (4) for controlling the vapour flow, a two-way
safety and ventilation valve (3) located in the fuel filler, an activated charcoal filter (2) and a vapour
cut-off valve (1) which is controlled by the control unit (7).
