REMOVING-REFITTING
Place the vehicle on ramps, remove the front
wheels, drain the gearbox oil and then pro­
ceed as described below:
1. Relieve the staking then remove the wheel
hub nut (gearbox side and timing gear
side).
2. Remove the wheelarch plastic trim on the
gearbox side by undoing the bolts and re­
taining button shown in the figure. To re­
move the trim, also disconnect the brake
pad wear sensor (repeat the procedure for
the other side).
3. Remove the nut securing the track rod end
to the vertical link, the remove the latter
from the vertical link arm using the puller
1847038000 (repeat the procedure on the
other track rod end).
4. Remove the bolts securing the vertical link
(gearbox side and timing gear side) to the
shock absorber.
