Operation in ICE mode
The ICE mode can be selected by pressing the ICE pushbutton located on the right of the selector lever,
when the latter is at position D. This strategy improves driving safety on slippery roads by ensuring that
the vehicle sets off gently by selecting 2nd gear on departure.
When the ICE mode is selected, the lock-up clutch is not locked.

The ICE mode is excluded in the following cases:
1. if the NORMAL/SPORT button is pressed;
2. if the selector lever is at a position other than D;
3. if the engine is switched off;
4. if the transmission fluid temperature is over 150°C;
5. operation under recovery conditions.
The table below illustrates the ratios which the gearbox uses automatically while the vehicle is driving,
in relation to the driving mode used and the selector lever position, and shows the transmission ratio
used on departure.
