Removing - refitting

1. Remove the central power unit mount by
unscrewing the bolts retaining it to the
body.
2. Remove the timing end engine mount by
unscrewing the central bolt.
3. Disconnect the gearbox end engine
mount by unscrewing the retaining bolts
shown.
4. Lower the hydraulic jack and remove the
power unit from below the vehicle.
| M I Lower the hydraulic jack gradually
**^ and check that the power unit is cor­
rectly positioned and balanced on the
mounting tool.
Position the power unit on a stand using a
hydraulic hoist.
Use a hydraulic hoist to move the
power unit, once it has been re/eased
from the mounting tool.
NOTE To refit the power unit, carry out re­
moval operations in reverse order.
Prepare the engine bay to fit the power
unit. Take care to arrange all electrical
leads, pipes etc. so that they do not get in
the way when the engine is refitted;
