11. Install the manual starter onto the power
unit, and then connect the start-in-gear
protection cable.
NOTE:
• Route the start-in-gear protection cable in
its original position.
• To adjust the start-in-gear protection cable,
see "Checking the start-in-gear protection
(M model)" (3-11).
12. Pull the starter handle to extend the
starter rope completely, and then mea-
sure the starter rope length g.
