4. Install the reverse gear and original
shim(s) into the propeller shaft housing.

NOTE:
• Be sure to select the reverse gear shim(s) if
replacing the propeller shaft housing, ball
bearing, or lower case. To select the shims,
see "Shimming (high thrust model)" (6-39).
• After installing the reverse gear and
shim(s), check that the gear rotates
smoothly.
