2. Check the inner surface of the oil pump
housing. Replace the oil pump assembly
if scratched.
3. Assemble the oil pump, and then tighten
the oil pump screws 1 to the specified
torque.

• The punch mark a on the outer rotor 2
faces towards the oil pump cover.
• The punch mark b on the inner rotor 3
faces towards the oil pump housing.
Oil pump screw 1:
5 N·m (0.5 kgf·m, 3.7 ft·lb)
