Gondenser Replacement
1 . Recover the refrigerant with a recovery/recycling/
charging station (see page 21-60).
Remove the front bumper (see page 20-87).
Remove the nut and the bolt. then disconnect the
discharge line (A) and the condenser line (B) from
the condenser. Plug or cap the lines immediately
after disconnecting them to avoid moisture and
dust contamination.

4. Remove the mounting bolts, then remove the
condenser by lifting it up. Be careful not to damage
the radiator or the condenser fins when removing
the condenser.

lnstall the condenser in the reverse order of
removal, and note these items,
. lf you're installing a new condenser, add
r e f r i g e r a n t o i l ( K E l H l N S P - 1 0 ) ( s e e p a g e 2 1 - 6 ) .
. Replace the O-rings with new ones at each fltting,
and apply a thin coat of refrigerant oil before
installing them. Be sure to use the correct O-rings
f o r H F C - 1 3 4 a ( R - 1 3 4 a ) t o a v o i d l e a k a g e .
. lmmediately after using the oil, reinstall the cap
on the container, and seal it to avoid moisture
absorption.
. D o n o t s p i l l t h e r e f r i g e r a n t o i l o n t h e v e h i c l e ; i t
may damage the paint. lf the refrigerant oil
contacts the paint. wash it off immediately.
. Be careful not to damage the radiator or the
condenser fins when installing the condenser.
