Disconnect the floor wire harness 2P connector (A)
from the driver's side impact sensor (B).
Disconnect SRS unit connector A (18P) from the
SRS unit.

7. Check resistance between the No, 8 terminal of
SRS unit connector A (18P) and body ground. There
should be an open circuit, or at least 1 M Q.

ls the resistance as specitied?
YES- Go to step 8.
NO Shortto ground in the floorwire harness;
replace the floor wire harness.I
Check resistance between the No. 8 and No. 15
terminals of SRS unit connector A (18P). There
should be an open circuit, or at least 1 M Q.
SRS UNIT CONNECTOR A {18PI
Wire side of temale terminals
ls the resistance as spacified?
YES-Faulty driver's side impact sensor or SRS
unit; replace the driver's side impact sensor (see
page 23-139). lf the problem is still present, replace
t h e S R S u n i t ( s e e p a g e 2 3 - 1 3 8 ) . t
NO - Short in the floor wire harness; replace the
floor wire harness.l
