Wiper/Washer Switch Test/Replacement
'1. Remove the dashboard lower cover (see page 20-61).
2. Remove the steering column covers (see page'17'25).
3. Disconnect the 14P connector (A){rom the wiper/washer switch (B)
Remove the two screws, then pull out the wiper/washer switch.
Inspect the connector terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.
. l f t h e t e r m i n a l s a r e b e n t , l o o s e o r c o r r o d e d , r e p a i r t h e m a s n e c e s s a r y , a n d r e c h e c k t h e s y s t e m .
. lf the terminals look OK, check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the tables.
- lJthe continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
