6. Disconnect SRS unit connector B (8P) from the SRS
u n i t ,
Disconnect gauge assembly connector A (22P).
Connect a voltmeter between the No. 15 terminal
(+ ) of gauge assembly connector A {22P) and body
g r o u n d . T u r n t h e i g n i t i o n s w i t c h O N ( l l ) , a n d
measure voltage. There should be 0.5 V or less

ts the voltage as specified?
YES Faulty SRS unit; replace the SRS unit (see
p a g e 2 3 - 1 3 8 ) . I
NO - Short to power in the PNK wire of the
d a s h b o a r d w i r e h a r n e s s o r i n t h e f l o o r w i r e
harness; replace the iaulty harness.l

8. Turn the ignition switch OFF. Check the No 10
(7.5A) fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box.
ls f use No. 10 (7.54) blow?
YES - Go to step 10.
NO Go to step 9.
