18. Install the new set ring.
Outboard Joint Side:
1 . W r a p t h e s p l i n e s w i t h v i n y l t a p e ( A ) t o p r e v e n t
damage to the outboard boot.
I n s t a l l t h e n e w e a r c l a m p b a n d s ( B ) a n d o u t b o a r d
boot, then remove the vinyl tape. Be careful not to
damage the outboard boot.
Install the new stop ring into the driveshaft groove
( A ) .
