Removal–refitting of the engine assembly
Refit the removed parts by performing the steps shown in the table and in the specific sections of the manual in reverse
order.
Operations
Connect wiring connectors on the
engine block
Refit the rear shock absorber
support on the engine block
Refit the front sprocket cover
Refit the clutch transmission unit
Refit the gearchange control
Refit the water expansion reservoir 9 - 3.1,
Refit the pipes and the cooling
system joints on the engine block
Refill the cooling system
Refit the oil pipes of the oil radiator
on the engine block
Refill the lubrication system
Refit the exhaust unit
Refit the battery support with all
electrical elements
Connect the starter motor/solenoid
cable
Refit the oil cooler
Refit the oil cooler covers
Connect the cables of the coils
Refit the injectors on the intake
manifolds and reassemble the
supply system
Refit the oil breather pipe, the blow
by, the throttle body and the airbox
Connect the throttle cable
Refit air conveyors
Refit the fuel tank
Reassemble the tank half covers
Reassemble air conveyor covers
Refit the saddles
