CLUTCH/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
CLUTCH REMOVAL
Remove the right crankcase cover (page 11-5).
If the oil pump driven sprocket will be removed,
loosen the driven sprocket bolt while the clutch is
still installed.
Loosen the clutch lifter plate bolts in a crisscross .----"""
pattern in several steps.
,Remove the lifter plate/bearing and clutch springs.
Be careful not

Unstake the clutch center lock nut.

HOld the clutch

using a special tool and
loosen the c.lutch center Jock nut.
