CLUTCH/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
INSPECTION
Check the ignition pulse generator rotor for wear or
damage.
Check the primary drive gear for wear or damage.
INSTALLA"rlON
Install the primary drive gear on the crankshaft.
NOTE:
• Install the primary drive gear, aligning its wide
groove with the wide tooth of the crankshaft.
• Install the primary drive gear with its "OUT" mark
facing out.
Install the ignition pulse generator rotor, aligning its
wide groove with the wide tooth ·of the crankshaft.
