HYDRAULIC BRAKE
Remove the snap ring using a special tool.
TOOL:
Snap ring pliers

Remove the washer, master piston and spring.
Clean the master cylinder, reservoir and master pis­
ton in clean brake fluid.
INSPECTION
Check the piston cups and boot for wear, deteriora ­
tion or damage.
Check the spring for fatigue or damage.
Check the master cylinder and piston for scoring,
scratches or damage.
MASTER PISTON WASHER
Measure the master cylinder 1.0.
