CYLINDER/PISTON
Measure the piston pin bore 1.0.
SERVICE LIMIT: 18.05 mm (0.711 in)
Calculate the piston-to-piston pin clearance.
SERVICE UMIT: 0.04 mm (0.002 in)
CONNECTING ROD
Measure the connecting rod small end 1.0.
SERVICE LIMIT: 18.07 mm (0.711 in)
Calculate the connecting rod-to-piston pin clear ­
ance.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.06 mm (0.002 in)
CYLINDER
Check the top of the cylinder for warpage with a
straight edge and feeler gaiJge across the stud
holes.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.10 mm (0.004 in)
Check the cylinder wall for scratches or wear.
Measure the cylinder 1.0. afthree levels on the X
and Y axes. Take the maximum reading to deter ­
mine the cylinder wear.
SERVICE LIMIT: 79.10 mm (3.114 in)
Calculate the cylinder-to-piston clearance.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.10 mm (0.004 in)
