Perforation Cutter Drive

The perforation cutter is driven by the cutter motor. When the cutter operates, the
cutter solenoid drives the paper retainer so that the paper retainer and scuff roller
assembly press the paper at locations just before and after the cutting position. This
paper pressure operation is performed to assure that the paper is cut when the cutter
(disc) is pressed against the paper perforation section from below.
