Error Message Table

Table 7–1 lists errors by error code and shows which are operator–correctable, which
require field service, and which require reprinting.
Operator–correctable errors include paper jams, missing consumables, and
power paper stacker problems.
Errors requiring field service are printer failures that require the attention of
service personnel.
Errors requiring reprinting are those errors which require reprinting to recover
from an error condition.
NOTE: The letter designations (A–D) following the "Paper Jam" error messages in
ONLINE FAULT

Troubleshooting procedures follow the error message table. As of this printing,
procedures are explained for error codes 01 through 32.

Table 7–1 match the sensor positions indicated on the control panel, as
shown in the following illustration.
