04 – Paper Jam at Exit (D): Transport Section
CHECKLIST:
1. Remove the fuser.
2. Place the rotary switch on the MPU board in position "E".
3. Ensure that the transport belt activates during power–on. If it does not, see
"Transport Motor Fail" on page 7–41.
4. Ensure that the transport path is closed.
5. Check the EPS0 sensor.
a. Put the positive lead of the digital multimeter on TP8 on the MPU board, and
b. Place paper on the transport unit, aligning the paper with the EPS0 sensor.
c. Check the voltage while turning the jam removal knob right and left. The
