Load
The load signal stores shift register data that is inside LED array unit in a latch
register.
Strobe 1–2
This signal illuminates the LED array according to the illumination data controlled
by data 1–4. The LED illuminates when this signal is asserted.
There are 4 LED arrays on the printhead, lined up in the direction of data shift.
Strobe 1 lights the first two, and strobe 2 lights the following two. Accordingly,
strobe 1 and 2 light the LED chips determined by the following data signals.

Logic power supply + (VCC, C14 on MPU board)
This is the VCC voltage on the MPU board. It is not connected to the DC Power
Supply +5V head (CN1 on DC Power Supply).
Logic power supply – (VSS, C14 on MPU board)
This is the VSS voltage on the MPU board. It is not connected to the DC Power
Supply SG1 (CN1 on DC Power Supply).
DC Power Supply
This is the positive voltage (+5V head) of the DC Power Supply. It is not connected
to the VCC on the MPU board.
LED drive power supply –
This is the negative side of the LED drive power supply. It is not connected to the
Logic power supply negative side.
